For anyone who has not cycled on The Waterford Greenway, this is your opportunity. It has been hailed as one of the most beautiful rides in the country. The Greenway follows the River Suir, with The Comeragh Mts. on one side and the sea on the other. There are plenty of stopping points and opportunities for photos and breaks.
We meet in the Waterford Greenway Bilberry Car Park. To access the car park you go over the bridge in the city and take a right down Grattan Quay. This road takes you straight down to the car park where parking is free.

I live in Castlebridge in Co. Wexford and I am a keen leisure cyclist. I try to get out as often as possible and enjoy cycling mostly within my own locality. I would love to see more people out on their bikes, taking advantage of all the health and social benefits that cycling has to offer.
Today's spin on the Waterford Greenway was really very enjoyable. The weather was perfect and as expected the views of The Comeragh Mountains and Helvick Head were super.
