I have ridden bikes all my live, mainly for transport. In recent years, I enjoy cycling as a hobby and pastime.
Meeting at Walton Park at the end of the Waterford Greenway, we set off under an overcast sky. The greenway today was the emptiest it's been since it was opened, people seeming to forget that it is open all year around. Riding out to the Durrow Viaduct, in very light drizzle, with the heaviest rain falling inside the Ballyvoile Tunnel. Even on a bad day, it's a great day on the Waterford Greenway.
