This is week 1 of a 4 week beginners cycling progamme. This ride is perfect for anyone who is just starting out. We will start by cycling around the T&F and hospital grounds before heading over the bypass on the cycle/walking path to get everyone confident and familiar with a few basic rules. If everyone is happy we will do a short spin on a quiet road. We may cover approximately 8 miles depending on how everyone gets on. My plan would be to head left on the Donaghanie Road down to the roundabout, taking the third exit onto the Arvalee Road. At the sharp right hand bend, we will take a left and stay on the Arvalee Road and go past Recarson School. We then have a choice of either taking the first left or second left, or to continue to Fox Park and come back the Carrickmore Road. We will decide that on the day when we see how everyone feels. On return we will enjoy a cuppa from my vehicle and have a chat about our trip.

I'm an enthusiastic leisure cyclist keen to see more people cycling in my area. This is a great way to meet new friends and clear the head, plus have a bit of fun!
